Beth Tremblay Hall interest in advocacy began with helping her two children with their special educational needs. She has been advocating professionally for children since the spring of 2007. She has worked with Education Consulting, Advocacy and Legal Services since 2010. She brings to our clients a wealth of experience and knowledge. Beth’s commitment to youth has taken many forms over the years including community organizing, grant writing, and other leadership opportunities.
Beth’s formal education has included vocational, managerial, team facilitation training along with local Federation for Children with Special Needs (FCSN) workshops, Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates (COPAA) conferences, Special Needs Advocacy Network (SPaN) professional development programs, Fundamentals a Suffolk Law School program, and other relevant trainings. She has been instrumental in developing workshops for parents and professionals that are geared toward creating a better understanding of the IEP process and how to work collaboratively.
In the spring of 2009, Beth received Newburyport’s Peace Prize for the work she has done to raise awareness regarding special education issues, as well as, for her continued work as a founding member of The BEACON Coalition (TBC) in Newburyport. Beth continues to serve on the Board of Directors of SPaN. She is also facilitator, a trained presenter for the Search Institutes 40 Developmental Assets, and a former Chairperson of the Newburyport Youth Commission. Beth and her husband live on the north shore.
